Beside our après-ski, our Pool Party and our DJ parties, we can guarantee that our Wilderness Camp Evening will be one of the major highlights of the week! If you are not afraid by a change of scenery and are eager for new sensations, this is definitely an option for you: an evening combining the fun of a toboggan ride at twilight and a barbecue dinner in a cozy and heated Mongolian yurt.

Just close your eyes and imagine you are sitting on your sledge and sliding along a 5 km long slope winding between firs and magic ice falls. The toboggan ride will be entirely secured by trackers and firemen. After 30 minutes tobogganing you will start discovering our amazing wilderness camp hidden away in a stunning alpine setting. For those of you who do not necessarily fancy tobogganing, our shuttle bus will bring you directly to the Camp.

Upon arriving on the camp, to recover from your emotions you will be served an aperitif and a bowl of pipping hot soup around the roaring camp fire, before taking place into a cozy and heated Mongolian yurt and enjoying a barbecue dinner.

The barbecue dinner includes: a choice of salads, 3 pieces of meat per person (pork, beef and one skewer), a side dish (ember cooked potatoes and tomatoes), a choice of desserts, white and red wine from Savoy at discretion, 1 beer and one soft drink.

Fancy dress evening: dress up like a cow boy (Django Unchained), a trapper,  a logger, a hunter, a fisherman...

Practical terms:

Our shuttle bus will pick you up in Val Claret at 7pm and bring you at the top of the slope where our toboggan ride will start, and will bring you back at 10.30pm to Val Claret, so that you can go to our DJ parties.

Remember to bring your gloves, cap, coat and mountain shoes with you to enjoy the toboggan ride without freezing!

For those of you who do not want (or do not know how) to cook, our Breakfast option is made for you.

If you are staying in one of our hotels, your breakfast is included in the price of your room. Therefore our Breakfast option is only intended for people staying in self catering studios and apartments.

It consists in 7 breakfasts served in a restaurant close to your residence between 8h00 and 10h30 from Sunday 24th through to Saturday 30th March.

Breakfasts will be available in buffet style and include:
• Hot drinks: tea, coffee, milk, chocolate
• Fruit juices
• Croissants, bread, butter, jam
• Ham, scramble eggs
• Yoghurt, cottage cheese, fruits

For those of you who do not want (or do not know how) to cook their dinner, our Dinner option is made for you.

Our Dinner option is intended to people staying in self catering studios or apartments as well as for people staying in our hotels. As we are proposing several dinner evenings during the week (Welcome Cocktail and Buffet at the Suites du Nevada on Saturday evening (included in the Event Pass), Raclette evening, Wilderness camp evening with a barbecue dinner, gastronomic dinner) our dinner option is made of 4 dinners, that you can take the evening you want from Sunday through to Friday either at the first service (7pm) or at the second one (9pm). You will have to book your table each day before 6pm at the restaurant you want to have your dinner.

The dinners of our Dinner option will be served at your choice in one of 3 carefully selected restaurants,  which will be  close to your hotel or residence. Each evening you will enjoy a different menu with a choice of starters, main course, dessert+coffee (drinks are with supplement).

Contemporary, natural, elegant, mountain inspired are probably the words that best reflect the style and the decoration of La Table en Montagne which provides to the restaurant a warm and convivial atmosphere. In the restaurant, which has got a capacity of 100 seats, wood reigns supreme, nature is everywhere and colors are shimmering. Every detail evidences the attachment to the traditions: like the famous Opinel knife that you will find on your table and which is indispensable to all Savoyarde people. You will have to use it to cut the bread served at your table.

A week holiday in a ski resort without a proper Raclette dinner it is a bit like Christmas without a Christmas tree, it just belongs together.

This option is very popular therefore it is recommended not to wait to book it. For the very few who don’t know what this is all about, we will recall the basics of a successful Raclette evening :
Good mood (necessary), good Raclette cheese put under a grill and that melts progressively till it is gilded. This is even better when it becomes crusty. Then you will generously pour the melting cheese on the potatoes on your plate and eat them together with charcuterie (savoyarde ham, rosette de Lyon, etc), salad and condiment (gherkins and white onion in vinegar, …)
The meal also includes a dessert, a coffee, wines of Savoy and a digestif.

This is one of those options that can make your life a lot easier. It is intended for people who have booked a studio or an apartment on our web site*.

After a whole day journey, after tidying your belongings upon arrival, collecting your welcome pack, taking possession of your event pass, you might not want to miss the beginning of our Welcome Cocktail & Buffet at the Suites du Nevada rather than having to rush to the next supermarket to do some shopping before it closes.

Your Welcome basket (not to be confused with your welcome pack that contains your options booked) is your emergency kit. It contains the basics for all the week: soluble coffee, tea, cocoa powder, fresh milk (semi skimmed, 1l)**, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, loaf, butter**, jam (range of different tastes), powder sugar, 4 plain yoghurts**, pasta, tomato sauce, grated cheese**, orange juice (1l)**, paper towel, toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tabs, detergent, 2 sponges.
