Online reservations for European Snow Pride 2024 are open.
The accommodation offered on our website can only be booked from Saturday 16th to Saturday 23th March 2024. If you wish to book another accommodation than the ones proposed on our website, or for other dates of stay (extended stay, short stay, etc.) please call our booking partner Tignes Réservation on +33 (0)4 79 40 03 03 or book the accommodation on https://reservation.tignes.net/. In both cases, please come back to our website to book your Event Pass, lift pass and our options.
To confirm your booking, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 25%, with the balance due no later than 23:59 CET on 15 February 2024. For all bookings on 16 February 2024 onwards, payment of the full amount is required.
Our booking system will be closed Monday 4 March 2024 at 17:00 CET. After this date and time it will not be possible to make new bookings and change your reservation. You will be able to purchase the options (Event Pass, lift pass, ski equipment, ski lessons and groups, meals, activities, etc) you want on site from our Customer Service, provided that they are still available.
Sales and Cancellation Conditions
Bookings for European Snow Pride are handled by our booking partner Tignes Reservation, which has all the tourist amenities and financial guarantees required by European laws on the sale of holiday packages.
We remind in the tabs “Particular Sales Conditions” and “Particular Cancellation Conditions” the specific booking and cancellation conditions that apply to any booking of an European Snow Pride holiday (i.e. containing at least the Event Pass).
Booking and payment methods
For each booking made on or before February 15th 2024 the payment of 25% of the total amount of the holiday is required. The outstanding balance is due on or before February 15th 2024 23:59 CET at the very latest.
Each booking made from February 16th 2024 onward must be paid entirely at the time of booking.
For each booking, €20 processing fees will be invoiced by Tignes Reservation to the customer (10€ for a booking without accommodation).
The booking of the Event Pass is required for the reservation of any accommodation or option offered on the European Snow Pride web site.
Availability of our accommodation when making a booking request from our website
The availability of the requested accommodation when proceeding to the booking request on the European Snow Pride website is not guaranteed. The availability of the requested accommodation is guaranteed for 3 days from the reception by the customer of the reservation summary email sent by Tignes Reservation which contains a payment link.
If the amount corresponding to the payment of the deposit or the total amount (depending on the reservation period) is not received by Tignes Reservation within 3 days of sending their email, the reservation request will be deemed to have lapsed and the availability of the requested accommodation will no longer be guaranteed.
Reference rates for accommodation and options
The reference currency on our web site is the Euro. When booking you will be invoiced in Euro. Prices in Pound Sterling on our web site are for information only and are calculated on the basis of the following exchange rate: €1=£0.85.
The reference price for the European Snow Pride accommodation and options is the price displayed on the European Snow Pride website in either the accommodation or option description web page. In case of discrepancy between the price displayed on these description pages and the price that may appear at other locations or in any communication with the customer either through emails, phone calls, booking forms or summary, this is the price displayed on the accommodation or option description page on the European Snow Pride web site that prevails and that should be considered as the price to pay for booking this accommdation or option.
In the case of adding an Event Pass / lift pass to an existing reservation, at a date after the date of creation of the initial booking file, the price conditions that apply to the added Event Pass / ski pass are those valid at the time the Event Pass/lift pass is added.
Download of your vouchers
One week before departure, and provided that your reservation is fully paid, you will need to download you vouchers from our website (menu ‘Book’, sub-menu ‘Print your vouchers’). Your vouchers contain all the information required to take possession of your accommodation & keys (if any) and of your welcome pack which contains all the options that you and your party have booked.
Changes in the schedule of events
The schedule of events is subject to change at any time, particularly in the light of weather conditions or health requirements, with no refund possible if an alternative to the original event is offered.
By proceeding to a European Snow Pride booking, the customer accepts :
• that his/her details are communicated to the organiser, Talance Consulting, which commits not to pass them to any third parties, unless this is required for the proper preparation or running of the event.
• to be photographed or filmed during the event and authorizes the organiser, Talance Consulting, to exploit this pictures and videos representing the customer for promotional purposes.
Health formalities related to Covid-19
The client who makes the reservation as well as all the persons included in the reservation file undertake to respect all health formalities applicable during the dates of the European Snow Pride 2024 stay, set up, if necessary, by the authorities of the country of residence, by the country of transit or by the French authorities, whatever their form: obligation to undergo a test, to wear a mask, to undergo a complete vaccination course, etc.
The client and the members of his booking file undertake to provide, if necessary, the health or vaccination certificates possibly requested by the French authorities in order to take possession of the accommodation booked and to be able to take part in the events and activities booked and planned during the European Snow Pride week. Any refusal or inability to provide the requested certificates will result in the cancellation of the stay without any refund for the client or for the members of his reservation file.
It is the responsibility of the client and the members of their booking to be aware in advance of any formalities that may be required, whether for their transport or their stay, by the authorities of their country of residence or the country of transit or by the French authorities.
In any case, it is already strongly recommended to the client as well as to the members of his reservation file to take their dispositions in order to be up to date, for the dates of their European Snow Pride 2024 holiday, of their vaccination against Covid-19.
We recommend that you take out a holiday cancellation insurance policy with Chapka/Tranquiloc, offered by our booking partner Tignes Réservation, at the same time as you register. The client must communicate to Tignes Réservation, upon confirmation of the reservation, the name and permanent address of all the members of the reservation file, in order to benefit from the guarantees provided by this insurance. Otherwise, we invite you to take out personal cancellation insurance by your own means.
Replacement of the Event Pass on site from our Customer Service
Any Event Pass that is detached, torn, cut or lost will be considered invalid and will not be replaced. The customer may, however, purchase a new one at a rate calculated the following way: Price of the Event Pass onsite multiplied by the remaining days. For example, the cost of replacing a detached, torn, cut-up or lost Event Pass on Wednesday is 3/7 multiplied by the price of the Event Pass on site.
Free replacement is only provided in the event that the Event Pass is to tight. In that case, and only in that case, to obtain a free replacement, the customer must present the Event Pass still attached to his/her wrist.
Any behaviour resulting in a risk or causing harm to other customers, the event and the members of the European Snow Pride team or the service providers of the European Snow Pride organisation will result in the immediate withdrawal of the Event Pass, without refund, thus preventing all access to the events and activities planned during the European Snow Pride for the rest of the week. Similarly, any aggressive, rude or insulting behaviour will not be tolerated and may, if necessary, lead to a complaint being lodged with the Police.
When booking your European Snow Pride holiday, we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, either your own personal insurance or that offered by our booking partner Tignes Reservation.
In order to be taken into account, all cancellation requests must be sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt to Tignes Réservation, Maison de Tignes le lac, 73320 Tignes le lac, France or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Your cancellation request must include
-the number of your Tignes Reservation file, your first name and surname
-the reasons for your cancellation request
-official evidence (medical certificate, professional certificate, etc.) relating to your application
If you have not taken out cancellation insurance or if it does not cover the reasons for your cancellation, the following cancellation penalties apply.
For all cancellations:
• before the 31/10/2023, the amount paid by the customer is fully refunded except for the processing fees and possible costs of cancellation insurance which are not refunded.
• from the 01/11/2023 and the 31/01/2024 inclusive, cancellation penalties will be applied and represent 25% of the total amount of the booking. Processing fees and possible costs of cancellation insurance are not refunded.
• from the 01/02/2024 and the 15/02/2024 inclusive, cancellation penalties will be applied and represent 50% of the total amount of the booking. Processing fees and possible costs of cancellation insurance are not refunded.
• from the 16/02/2024 onward, cancellation penalties will be applied and represent 100% of the total amount of the booking. Processing fees and possible costs of cancellation insurance are not refunded.
For any partial cancellation of a booking (cancellation of an option), penalties will also apply. The penalty conditions are the same as above but they apply on the cancelled option instead of the whole booking.
Any change in a booking that consists in a change of accommodation is considered as a cancellation of the accommodation booked initially and penalties will apply. The penalty conditions are the same as above but will apply on the cancelled accommodation instead of the whole booking.
In the case of a change in a booking that consists in a change of the number of people in an accommodation, a supplement will be applied to each person who does not cancel. The supplement/pers is equal to the difference between the price/pers of the accommodation with the new occupancy level and the price/pers of the accommodation with the initial occupancy level.
In the case of the cancellation of one person in a Special Offer booking, cancellation penalties will apply. The penalty percentages are the same as above but will only apply on the cancelling customer share and not on the full amount of the booking.
Each booking that is not fully paid at 23:59 on the 15th February 2024 (CET) might be cancelled without notice and penalties will apply as specified above.
Relaxation of our cancellation conditions for ESP2024 in relation to Covid-19 only for reservations of the DeLuxe Special Offer or including accommodation in one of the following residences: CGH Jhana residence, CGH Ferme du Val Claret, CGH Nevada:
In the event of the occurrence of the following events, for any European Snow Pride 2024 reservation, it is possible to change your dates of stay for your accommodation only, over the winter season 2023/2024, but the other services are not reimbursed:
– Closure of borders by the French government due to COVID-19
– Closure of borders by the Client’s country of origin government due to COVID-19
– Home country government bans all non-essential travel due to COVID-19
– Mileage limitation and movement restrictions, in relation to your home due to COVID-19
– Quarantine (or any period of confinement) imposed by France or by the country of origin due to COVID-19
– In the event of a government decree obliging the closure of the accommodation in question, due to COVID-19
– Closure of the resort and / or ski lifts due to COVID-19
A-For the 3 situations below related to the COVID 19 health crisis:
- By government decision, the borders of the client’s country of residence are closed and will be closed on the dates of their stay, making it impossible for clients to travel to France.
- The client lives in an area where a lockdown is in force and will still be in force on the dates of their stay.
- Restrictive travel measures are imposed by the French authorities such as travel restrictions, or quarantine requirements for travellers coming from the client’s place of residence (to be applicable, quarantine must be mandatory – not applicable in case of voluntary quarantine). The restriction measures must always be in force until the day before the customer’s stay.
Tignes Reservation undertakes to offer the client a postponement to another date during the winter season 2023-24. When these measures are already in place for the date of the client’s stay, the client may make this this postponement up to 15 days before arrival. If a client does not manifest himself, it will be considered that the client has decided to come for his stay with full knowledge of the facts.
If one of the above situations occurs less than 15 days before arrival, Tignes Reservation will offer the client a postponement to another date during the 2023/2024 winter season.
B-The following situations are excluded and do not fall under the COVID flexibility:
– The airport of departure or destination is closed for health reasons,
– The means of transport chosen by the client to take him to his place of stay has been cancelled for any reason whatsoever.
– The ski area has taken the decision to unilaterally close its ski area partially or totally without a decision or decree from a French government authority.
C-In the event of a total closure of the ski area, to which the residence is attached, by an administrative measure emanating from the French national or regional authorities, the client will have the possibility of modify their reservation in another CGH establishment on the same date, or a stay on another date during the winter 2023/2024 at no extra cost or retention of the original booking. No cancellation without charge will be granted.
D-If a lockdown measure is decided to be applied during the stay, resulting in an interruption of the stay, Tignes Reservation will invoice the number of days of the stay on a pro rata basis.
Any interruption of the stay by the client because a travel restriction measure is in force after the initial end of the stay, will not give rise to a revision of the tariff and the stay will be invoiced at 100%.
If you have booked the DeLuxe Special Offer, the participants sharing the same apartment must agree on a new date of stay according to the above conditions. In the absence of unanimity, the date of stay retained for the postponement is the date defined by a majority of participants sharing the same apartment. In the absence of a majority, the date of stay retained for the rescheduling will be drawn at random from the dates proposed by the participants sharing the same apartment. No refund of accommodation will be possible for those who do not accept the date of stay thus chosen. We remind you that for the DeLuxe Special Offer, only accommodation is affected by this relaxation. Other services (Event Pass, ski pass, etc.) will not be reimbursed.
For any reservation excluding the DeLuxe Special Offer or not including accommodation in a CGH Jhana/CGH Nevada/CGH Ferme du Val Claret residence, no relaxation of the cancellation conditions is provided for, and the cancellation conditions described above apply.
Our booking partner Tignes Reservation offers the subscription of insurance by residents for at least 6 months of the European Union+ Switerland, UK and Monaco (AREAS Contract 01049724, FORMULE 2) guaranteeing a refund of stay if the Insured tenant cannot leave for the following reason: if the Insured, his Spouse/Husband or a member of his Family as well as any person usually living with the Insured has been diagnosed with COVID-19 before the departure date planned trip (on presentation of supporting documents and medical certificate).
This insurance also covers other cases (death, accident, illness of yourself or a member of your family, dismissal, obtaining a job, professional transfer or cancellation of paid leave, serious damage caused to the vehicle of the insured, lack of snow, natural events preventing the stay (access road cut, etc.).
IMPORTANT: for any subscription to the cancellation insurance (AREAS contract 01049724, FORMULE 2), the customer must imperatively communicate to Tignes Reservation (at the time of the reservation) the name and address of each participant in the stay via a form present in the booking confirmation.

If you are not a national of the EU+ Switerland, UK and Monaco, we invite you to take out personal insurance, covering the reimbursement of your ESP2024 stay in the general case of illness (including Covid 19), accident or other circumstances, making it impossible your participation in ESP2024.
